I used to HATE cold weather and snow and was a professed sunny beach loving gal. Then, after much begging and pleading, my husband convinced me to try out snowmobiling with him. I reluctantly agreed (and let’s face it, much of this had to do with beer and gambling as he promised me a trip to Deadwood) to give it a try. Thanks to my inner outdoor adventure enthusiast, I actually LOVE it for many different reasons.
First off, the scenery is gorgeous.
It gives me another occasion to wear my warm weather running clothes. Don’t be jealous of my coming off the mountain attire.
It’s fun to get away with other adults and go out for yummy Mexican food without feeling guilty about the calorie consumption and make your husband pose for cheesy photo ops that he’s really not so in to.
Tara and I have no issues with photo ops.
Snowmobiling is also very physically demanding….especially if you get stuck as often as I do.
And always seem to fall into the hole that you were stuck in while “helping” with the getting unstuck part.
I’ve also come to love that adrenaline rush of conquering your fears.
Coming down is always worse than going up, and it looks MUCH steeper from the top. Ask Tara;)
Are you a winter girl or a summer girl or both?
-I’d have to say I’m both now.

BOTH!!!
hahaha…that sounds like me in that first part! i’m the biggest weather weenie ever!! i’ve never tried snowmobiling though, and i will say it looks super fun. i’ll give it a shot…buuuut, have to say i don’t think it could beat the beach.
The beach would be hard to beat…..if we lived by one. Luckily, we have an awesome recreation lake with beautiful sand beaches though. Getting good gear was the turning point in me liking sledding and loving it! Thanks for posting! Can’t wait to check out your blog!!
